Jadekit prowls around Bluffclan

Jadekit smelled the air. The ocean was the picture that she had got in her mind. She had escaped from the clan of bloodthirsty rouges and had finally arrived at the ocean, in search of a new home. The gulls sheriked and the waves at the shore crashed at the rocks and the sun shone down on her pelt. "I wonder where I should go..."She thought to herself.

Seacasket padded upon Bluffclan's small stretch of beach, she had been hunting, but decided to take a break. "Ah..." She kneaded the sand with her claws before suddenly stiffening. She smelled intruders. She sniffed again. Yes, there it was. There was an intruder's scent, all right, but it wasn't the scent of any of the other clans...A rouge! Her pelt bristled as she followed the scent. Imagine her surprise when she spotted Jadekit! Why, this cat wasn't even six moons old! Obviously she was not to be feared. Seacasket approached her with confidence. "Hello, little one!"

Jadekit turned around to see Seacasket. "Hello....I'm Jadekit. I'm just wandering around for a place to stay...you wouldn't happen to know where I could stay would you?"Jadekit asked the she-cat.

Phoenixkit padded out and peered around Seacasket.
"Why is there another kit here?" he asked curiously. Then realised he had just gave himself away after sneaking out of camp.

Jadekit turned around to see Phoenixkit. "I'm just looking for a place to live. Do you know anywhere that I can live?"Jadekit asked.

"You might be able to live with BluffClan but there are many risks and our leader (who's leader?) will have to decide whether you can stay or not and if our leader does, you will be taught the ways of a warrior, but it may prove difficult to you"

"Phoenixkit!" Seacasket exclaimed, but shook her head, deciding she would deal with him later."Yes, but I do not think that ****star would turn away a young cat in need of a home, but you would indeed have to be taught the ways of the warriors, and dedicate yourself to your clan. You would have to fight, and hunt, and put your clan before yourself. Do you think you can do it?" Seacasket gazed at the kit, knowing what her answer would be. Even if the life didn't sound appealing, the young cat seemed desperate for a home.

((I don't know who's going to be leader, but it looks like Seacasket might have to be. We don't have any other warriors!))

Jadekit nodded. "I'm able to do all those things. I've been a rouge for quite a while, but I've finally escaped that life."Jadekit mewed.

"Glad to hear" Phoenixkit nodded. "I'm Phoenixkit, my sister is Raptorwing of WaveClan" he lowered his voice, "Don't anger her, she has a bad attitude"

"Jadekit, former rouge, hoping to be a warrior. Glad to meet you. Got the name memorized?"Jadekit said laughing and smiling.

"I am Seacasket, warrior of Bluffclan. We should probably head back to camp now, if you're returning with us." Seacasket sent a look toward Phoenixkit that clearly comunicated 'You are so in for it when we get back'

Jadekit chuckled a bit as Seacasket gave Phoniexkit the "look" "I'm definetly come back! I'm hoping to train as soon as possible as well!"Jadekit said smiling. Determination in her eyes.

"How many moons are you?" Phoenixkit asked awkwardly. 'never ask a she-cat her age' the reminder came back.

Seacasket smiled, beginning to pad back towards the bluff above the beach. "Come along, you two." She had taken an instant liking to Jadekit, for some reason she could not comprehend. She was happy the kit was coming back to Bluffclan. Maybe it was her maternal instincts kicking in...

((BTW, I meant that Seacasket liked Jadekit in a motherly way. Just in case anyone was confused.))

Jadekit smiled as she walked along following Seacasket. Though Seacasket seemed a bit motherly to her, she could not replace her thoughts of her original parents.
